'Dear X' tells the story of Baek Ah-jin (Kim Yoo-jung), a masked woman to climb to the highest point from hell, and Xs brutally trampled on her. It is a period of destruction of top Korean actor Baek A-jin, who hid his cruel true colors behind his beautiful face, and a work that foreshadows the birth of a doom melodrama suspense that captures the desperate love of Yoon Joon-seo (Kim Young-dae), who chose hell to protect him.

Among them, the launching poster, which was released, drew attention by adding Baek Ah-jin's cool eyes exposed through the cracks on the letters 'Dear X' written in bright red on white paper, but it was similar to the 'Suspect X's Hanshin', which raised controversy.

The original poster, which was suspected of plagiarism, is a poster for a film adaptation of 「Suspect X's Commitment" and is based on Keigo Higashino's novel of the same name. It is a famous movie starring Wang Kai, Zhang Rui and Lin Shin-ru.
