Yoon Seo-ah met with Sports Chosun at a certain place in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the 25th and responded to an interview commemorating the end of the `Chef of the Tyrant.'
The "Chef of a Tyrant" that ended on the 28th is a fantasy romantic comedy about what happens when Michelin chef Yeon Ji-young (Im Yoon-ah) meets Wang Lee Hun (Lee Chae-min), the worst tyrant and absolute taste holder.
Yoon Seo-ah has done many works, but parting is always unfamiliar. I had a hard time filming from the cold winter to the hot summer, but as I watched the show together, I felt nostalgic. We are grateful for the viewers' support and love from day to day. Then "The actors and actresses had great chemistry when filming. Thanks to the great director's direction, everyone was able to work in one mind. So I was confident that the work would go well," he added.
The most memorable thing was the real-time reaction. "There were many comments supporting the dialect acting," he said. In previous historical dramas, all characters died early, but this time, I was grateful that there was a reaction that 'Gilgeum must survive'"I laughed.
The family's response was also hot. "My parents loved me to live a long life. Viewership articles were captured and posted daily in the family group chat room. I felt like I was good to myself in this work."
In particular, Yoona's collaboration with her drew attention. In the play, he drew a warmans with Yoona and increased the immersion level of the play, saying, "My sister accepted me a lot acting from the beginning of the shoot. He was happy to accept the ad-lib I prepared and always shared his opinions. Later, I thanked him, saying, "We had a good chemistry just by looking at his eyes." It was also really warm in reality. On a cold day, he held a hot pack in his hand and took care of me by heating Ssanghwatang when I was not feeling well. She was such a reliable sister," he recalled.
He also said, `I want to meet Yoona again in another work. It would be nice to come out like a younger brother or sister in a modern drama. I imagine bickering or tsundere sisters, or affectionate sister acting. Yoon Seo-ah, who has shown deep romance chemistry with older sisters such as Han So-hee and Lim Ji-yeon in the past, said "In fact, I was always jealous of my friends who had older sisters because they only had older brothers. I feel like real sisters have been created through various works."
The real personality is also similar to Gilgeum and the character. Yoon Seo-ah said, `I am also sensitive to smell and taste. When I go home, I guess what the dinner menu is. It is particularly sensitive to the smell of mushrooms. So, Gilgeum was like my previous life," he said with a smile.
He also told an interesting back story about food items. "The bibimbap and duck roll were really delicious. While acting, the reaction was sincere. However, it was regrettable that he could not taste Surat-sang foods that only His Highness could eat.
He also shared his concerns and aspirations as an actor. Yoon Seo-ah cited actor Jeon Do-yeon as her role model and went to see her senior's play 'Cherry Blossom Garden' last year. The energy transmitted on stage gave me shivers and I made a commitment as an actor once again." Then "I respect Song Kang-ho as well. It is amazing to see him freely travelling from familiar appearances to villains. have the power to overwhelm just by looking at one's eyes," he said, expressing his admiration. He also confessed that he had a relationship with Sung Dong-il in 'Ok's Mrs. Chun', and that he once told him 'I want to be a dog daughter'.
Asked what kind of actor he wants to grow into in the future, he said, "I want to be a lantern-like actor who shines more when it's dark. I want to be an actor who allows me to cross difficult times together. I have also been comforted by the acting of the actors in the work. Someday, I want to challenge myself in works or historical characters that have social meaning"I'm determined.
Finally, he conveyed his feelings of letting Gilgeum go and "It's hard to let him go well because he's a character who lived for eight months. However, Gilgeum's bright appearance remained in me and had a good influence. I will come back with a different image in my next work. "
Meanwhile, 'Chef of the Tyrant' succeeded in surpassing 10% of the viewership rating of Nielsen Korea's nationwide paid households in the fourth episode and ranked No. 1 in Netflix's global top 10 TV (non-English) category for two consecutive weeks, sparking a great response from overseas as well.
