Song Kang-ho to Lead Comedy Film 'Gardeners'

Song Kang-ho is an actor with a total of four 10 million viewers, solidifying his international influence by winning the 75th Cannes International Film Festival's Best Actor Award for the first time in Korea. In particular, his leading film 'Parasite' imprinted an unrivaled presence on moviegoers around the world. In this work, Song Kang-ho plays Choi Young-il, a normal and sincere civil servant who feels happy and rewarded in his life as a food butler. It is expected to show overwhelming performance with irreplaceable character digestibility.
Director Nam Dong-hyeop, who captivated both the public and critics by portraying the combined genre of occult and comedy with the new director's lively and extraordinary directing skills through last year's 'Handsome Guys', added expectations by directing the work. The Gardeners is about a civil servant whose only hobby is growing plants, who suddenly enters a special gardening business in partnership with a local troublemaker because of a large amount of debt, plunging a quiet village into unimaginable chaos. Song Kang-ho will appear and director Nam Dong-hyeop of 'Handsome Guys' will hold the megaphone.
