tvN's new Saturday-Sunday drama Taepung Corporation depicts the struggling growth period of Kang Tae-pung, a novice boss who became the president of a trading company with no IMF, no employees, no money or nothing to sell in 1997. It is expected to provide warm comfort and courage to someone who is passing through a difficult moment today through the heart-wrenching survival of ordinary people who did not stop living while keeping their place even in a gloomy time when the world seemed to be over due to the crisis that hit Korea.
