According to Nielsen Korea on the 7th, the 2nd episode of 'Warts: Murderers' Outing', which aired on the 6th, recorded 7.3% of the viewership based on the metropolitan area, which was on the rise compared to the previous episode. At the moment, the highest ratings soared to 10%, breaking the double-digit mark, and 2049 viewership also rose vertically, recording 2.5%-up to 3.29%. Analysts say that the figure ahead of Song Joong-ki's leading role 'My Youth', which was broadcast at the same time, has properly exploded 'Trusting and Watching Ko Hyun-jung Magic'.
On this day's broadcast, a full-fledged joint investigation was drawn in which Ko Hyun-jung faced off as the serial killer's mother, Jeong In-shin, and Jang Dong-yoon as the detective's son, Cha Soo-yeol. The complex relationship between the mother and son, who could not trust or doubt each other 100%, formed an intense tension.
In the play, Cha Soo-yeol found data related to the serial murder case, traces of a priest's gun, and even a shocking letter exchanged with Jeong In-shin in the hideout of Seo Seo-wan (Lee Tae-gu), a suspected copycat murder suspect. Seo Seo-wan was eventually arrested, but the life and death of Kim Tae-seok (Seo Hyun-chul) continued.
The provocation continued even after Seo Woo-wan was caught by the police. He provoked his anger by referring to Jeong Yi-shin in front of Cha Soo-yeol, and when he confronted Jeong Yi-shin, "Kim Tae-seok may be alive." heightened tension by giving a clue. However, Seo's runaway performance did not stop. He showed his madness by strangling Jung Shin and even bringing out Cha Soo-yeol's wife's name, eventually trying to make an extreme choice by pointing a gun to his head. In the process, the scene where Jung Yi-shin left an eerie whisper to Cha Soo-yeol, saying, `We have to kill him now,' shocked viewers.
The last ending was intense once again. As soon as Cha Soo-yeol collided desperately to save Kim Tae-seok, Jung Yi-shin showed his madness by raising an unidentified insect in the ventilation shaft, and the second inning ended.
The movie is said to have shown the essence of a crime thriller with explosive power in the relationship between Ko and Jang Dong-yoon. SBS's Friday-Saturday drama `The Devil: The Killer's Going Out' will air at 9:50 p.m. every Friday and Saturday.
