‘Boss’ Dominates Box Office for Three Consecutive Days



The movie 'Boss' has firmly maintained its No. 1 position at the box office on the third day of its release.

According to the Film Council's integrated computer network of movie theater admission tickets on the 6th, 'Boss' mobilized 218,925 people on the 5th, recording a cumulative audience of 670,48. On the third day of its release, it did not give up the No. 1 spot and dominated the theater during the Chuseok holiday.

'Boss' is a comic action film about a desperate confrontation between members fighting as if they were ceding 'Boss' to each other for their own desires and dreams ahead of the election of the next boss whose future is at stake. Cho Woo-jin, Jung Kyung-ho, Park Ji-hwan and Lee Kyu-hyung appeared to create synergy in acting. Since its release on the 3rd, it has been steadily gaining word of mouth.




In second place was director Park Chan-wook's new work 'I Can't Help It', which attracted 133,229 people on the same day, accumulating 1,858,038 people. Third place was 'Theatrical version of Chainsaw Man: Lessepyeon', which was watched by 95,152 people, exceeding the accumulated number of 1,078,817.

Director Yeon Sang-ho's 'Face' added 12,455 people, accumulating 1,002,516, which surpassed 1 million viewers with a production cost of 240 million won.
