In the seventh episode of JTBC's Saturday-Sunday Drama '100 Memories' (written by Yang Hee-seung and Kim Bo-ram, director Kim Sang-ho), Kim Da-mi's performance, which deepened, began in earnest. Kim Dami delicately unraveled the emotions that had been buried in her heart for seven years, adding to the depth of the play. The seven-year narrative was captured in the eyes, and the viewers were able to fall into the play while feeling the emotions accumulated over the years with just that eyes.
In the play, Ko Young-rye (Kim Da-mi) was living as a beauty salon designer, not a bus guide, seven years later after her friend Seo Jong-hee (Shin Ye-eun) disappeared. Next to Ko Young-rye was Han Jae-pil (Huh Nam-joon), his first love, who gave up by choosing a friendship with his friend Seo Jong-hee. The relationship between the two had changed subtly. Although they looked like lovers to others, they maintained a special relationship while drawing the line that they were friends.
Kim Da-mi delicately portrayed the complex and subtle psychology of her feelings toward her first love Han Jae-pil, who had been buried in her heart for a long time, and her naturally rising friend Seo Jong-hee with only her eyes and facial expressions. In the kindness of Han Jae-pil and the encouragement of people around him, he/she tried to hold himself together by saying, `Wake up,' but he/she was forced to shake his/her heart with excitement and hope.
The flower word shy first love 'Orange Rose' represented Ko Young-rye's heart. Kim Dami delicately expressed Ko Young-rye's conflicting appearance and Ko Young-rye's hesitating gaze and even a small gesture after being advised to confess under the excuse of 'Rose Day'.
In the time of excitement and conflict, Ko Young-rye showed a gaze full of longing for Seo Jong-hee. Just looking at the back that resembles Seo Jong-hee, he chased after her, and while thinking of Seo Jong-hee, he built up his emotions by blowing bubble gum. Kim Da-mi added depth by capturing the weight of her accumulated emotions in her eyes after seven years. At the end of the broadcast, Ko Young-rye faced Seo Jong-hee, who she missed so much, as a VVIP customer at the hair salon. How Kim Da-mi will solve the reunion of the two friends in seven years, and the deep emotional line and the more exciting story that will unfold gathered viewers' expectations.
Meanwhile, episode 8 of 100 Memories will air on JTBC at 10:30 p.m. on the 5th.
