At the online production presentation of KBS1's new daily drama 「'Marie and the Stellar Dads" held on the 13th, Hwang Dong-ju said 「"Minbo is a collection of characters from all the works I've done so far, except for infidelity."
'Marie and the Odd Dads' (scripted by Kim Hong-joo, director Seo Yong-soo) is looking for Marie's clumsy dad, Sam Man-ri! It is a drama about the birth of an eccentric family that is thicker than blood and more persistent than sperm. It is a collaboration of Seo Yong-soo, who directed the drama special 2023 'Do-hyun's Confession' and 'Overlap Knife, Knife', the weekend drama 'The Iron Family', and the epic drama 'Goryeoran War', and writer Kim Hong-joo, who wrote 'I love you even if I hate you' and 'Girls' Alumni'.
Hwang Dong-ju transformed into Shira's ex-husband Minbo. He said "I think I'm Marie's dad, but I don't know why I have to get involved with other people (laughs). I just left Marie for a while because of my relationship with my wife Shira. "A person can make mistakes even when he gets older. Minbo comes back to Marie and struggles to make up for her mistakes."
As for his role, he said, "A collection of all the characters I've done so far, except for irregularities," and added, "As I grow older, I think I'll give you an opportunity to think about the meaning of 'What is a family?'", he explained.
Meanwhile, KBS1 'Marie and the Bizarre Dads' will premiere at 8:30 p.m. on the 13th.
