First broadcast on November 3rd, 'Mean Love' is a work about a pleasant war between a national actor who has lost his initial motivation and a reporter from the entertainment department who has a sense of justice. The bickering chemistry between a top star and a reporter, who do not know each other's world, will provide thrilling excitement and empathy at the same time.
Lim Ji-yeon plays Wi Jung-shin, a cool-headed political ace reporter in the play. However, she was pushed back to the entertainment department due to her unexpected appointment and did not know the name of the idol or the title of the drama. In the teaser video, expectations were raised as it was revealed that he was thrown into an unfamiliar scene and was in a tight confrontation with national actor Lim Hyun-joon (Lee Jung-jae).
Im Hyun-jun, played by Lee Jung-jae, is a famous actor who is loved by the nation as a character of 'Good Detective Kang Pil-gu', but he is struggling to escape his image. The first clash with the spirit of stomach will soon lead to bitter chemistry, which is the central axis of the play, and laughter and tension are expected to explode at the same time in the confrontation between the two.
Director Kim Gar-ram of 'Good Partner' and 'I Know' and writer Jung Yeo-rang of 'Doctor Cha Jung-sook' have joined forces to enhance the completeness of the work with fresh settings, sharp lines and sensuous production. On top of that, colorful lineups such as Lee Jung-jae, Lim Ji-yeon, Kim Ji-hoon, and Seo Ji-hye are already emerging as expected works.
tvN's new Monday-Tuesday drama `Illustrated Love' will premiere at 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 3.
