Physical Asia's Jang Hogi PD, Turkey, Australia's program to push the envelope on fairness issues

Producer Jang Ho-ki opened his mouth to Turkiye and Australia's participation in 'Asia'.

On the afternoon of the 24th, Netflix held a production presentation for the new original entertainment show 'Physical: Asia" at a hotel in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Producer Jang Ho-ki, Yoon Sung-bin, Kim Min-jae, Amoti, Jang Eun-sil and Choi Seung-yeon attended the event. In addition, Kim Dong-hyun (the first Korean mixed martial arts UFC fighter), Japan's Okami Yushin (the most wins in UFC Asia), Thailand's James Lusamikae (a volleyball player-turned-actor), Australia's Robert Whitaker (former UFC middleweight champion), Mongolia's Erhungbayar Bayarsaihang (traditional wrestler), Turkiye Recep Kara (oil wrestling champion), and Indonesia's Iggs Executive (bodybuilder) participated in the video.

In addition to performers from Asian countries, participants from Turkiye and Australia also appeared in 'Physical: Asia', leaving questions about fairness. Producer Jang responded to this by saying, `It started as a program that competes without discriminating race, gender, or age. There seems to be an opinion that it may not be appropriate because it came from a particularly far away country. It's because we chose the title 'Asia'. Our program is to overcome the limitations, and the name of Asia is to expand little by little, and it is not intended to be done only by Asian people, so please understand that broadly so that various people can join together."

'Physical: Asia' is a physical war in which eight Asian countries hang their flags. It is the first national competition in the 'Physical' series. A total of 48 legendary players, six from each of eight Asian countries in Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Turkiye, Indonesia, Australia, and the Philippines, will stage a fierce physical battle, unveiling a huge scale stadium and a vast world view of Korean and Asian culture, as well as the fierce competition of hexagonal physicals that challenge human limits, various tactics and strategies, and teamwork through upgraded mega quests.

'Physical: Asia' will be released on Netflix on the 28th.
