Yu Jin and Ji Hyun Woo's miraculous ending of 'First Lady'...The moving finale beyond tragedy

MBN's Wednesday-Thursday mini-series First Lady ended the grand finale with a miracle ending complete with tragedy, sincerity, and sacrifice caused by human desire and greed.

In the final episode, which aired on the 30th, Cha Soo-yeon (Yujin) confessed the truth and Hyun Min-cheol (Ji Hyun-woo) hugged his wife with love and threw his life away. Hyun Min-cheol went missing after being caught up in a building collapse while trying to save his daughter, but his survival was miraculously confirmed at the end of the play, expressing a heavy impression.

Cha Soo-yeon admitted that she was the main culprit of the fire incident and confessed to using her husband to take revenge on her father. Hyun Min-cheol rushed to the abandoned factory to save his daughter, wife, and Lee Hwa-jin (Han Soo-ah) and escaped his family from the collapsed building, putting himself in danger under the rubble. Afterwards, Yang Hoon (Lee Si-gang) was arrested on various criminal charges, and Cha Soo-yeon revealed the truth 15 years ago at the special investigation committee and declared that she would take full responsibility.

At the last moment, with Cha Soo-yeon sobbing after hearing the news of Hyun Min-chul's rescue, 'First Lady' left a meaning of true salvation and sacrifice. Yu-jin, Ji Hyun-woo, and Lee Min-young have expanded their acting spectrum by completing their respective life characters, while dense plots and sensual production have enhanced the drama's completeness. 'First Lady' entered Netflix 'TOP 10' throughout the show, proving its popularity at home and abroad, and left a deep resonance with six years of writing and production efforts.

The viewership for the final episode was 1.6 percent for the first part and 1.6 percent for the second part based on Nielsen Korea.
