Kim Hyang-gi said at the press and distribution premiere of the movie 'Hanran' held at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 12th, `I thought a lot about how to get close to Minchae.'
Released on the 26th, 'Hanlan' is a film set in Jeju in 1948, about the strong survival journey of a mother and daughter who crossed mountains and seas to survive, and director Ha Myung-mi of 'Her Hobby' took the megaphone.
Kim Hyang-gi, who debuted in 2003 and has already been in her 22nd year, tried to act as a mother character for the first time through 'Hanran'. In the play, he played the role of Ajin, a 26-year-old mother raising her six-year-old daughter Haesaeng, "Filming on Jeju Island was a great influence from the environment. Of course, there were some hard scenes while filming, but while filming in Jeju, I was naturally immersed and wanted to speak Jeju well," he said.
Regarding the process of working with Kim Min-chae, "Min-chae was shy and quiet at first, so I thought about how to get close to her" and "Asking about personal stories and asking about her taste, we became close (laughs). At the filming site, if they say 'cut', they talk to me first. I had a lot of fun filming like my sister and sister."
As for how I came to participate in the work "I was so happy as soon as I read the scenario. Even if it's an advantage to me, it's difficult not to read the scenario, but since I received the script, I wanted to participate because it was well read and fun"The important choice for me is not whether to do this work or not, but rather the scenario itself is so good that I focused a lot on how to implement the character. The director was also grateful for the detailed and trustworthy explanation (about the background of the movie)"He expressed his gratitude.
