In the first episode of KBS2's Saturday miniseries 'The Last Summer' (script Jeon Yu-ri, director Min Yeon-hong), which aired on the 1st, the quarrel between Baek Do-ha (Lee Jae-wook), a talented architect who returned to 'Battan-myeon' where he lived as a child, and Song Ha-kyung (Choi Sung-eun), a seventh-grade civil servant who wants to leave the neighborhood, was depicted. On this day, the ratings of the broadcast recorded 3% (provided by Nielsen Korea, based on the total number of households nationwide), announcing a fresh start from the first episode. In particular, the scene in which Ha-kyung calls his father Baek Ki-ho (Choi Byung-mo), surprised to learn that the co-name of the peanut house has been changed to Doha, left a strong impression, soaring to the highest viewer rating of 3.9% per minute.
The broadcast began with a desperate narration by Ha-kyung, who appealed to the judge regarding the request for division of the common property. Hakyung stimulated interest by introducing the northernmost village 'Pacheon'Life, where buses pass every 40 minutes and the sound of guns is heard. Ha Kyung, a civil servant, then showed off his professionalism by skillfully persuading and dissolving villagers protesting in front of the Myeon office with his nickname 'Dr. Song'. On top of that, Doha, who returned to the breakdown, watched her passionate appearance and smiled lightly, raising questions about their relationship.
On the other hand, Ha-kyung carefully checked the purchaser's family and even tried to sign a contract to sell the peanut house she currently resides in. However, she could not hide her embarrassment when she saw a copy of the peanut house co-name changed from Baek Ki-ho to Baek Do-ha. Doha, who recognized this fact, did not add anything else, but only sent Ha-kyung the place and time to meet by e-mail.
Seo Soo-hyuk (Kim Gun-woo) appeared as his lawyer, not Doha, at Ha-kyung's appointment. As soon as Ha-kyung and Su-hyuk met, they continued a tense confrontation over the peanut house. When Soo-hyuk tackled over a certified copy of the register, Ha-kyung also embarrassed him by saying meaningful words.
Ha-kyung found Doha playing with watermelon while looking for her dog, watermelon, and the two reunited after two years. Doha greeted Ha-kyung, but Ha-kyung, who was uncomfortable with him, responded coldly. The two had a crazy tiki-taka over the sale of a peanut house, and the sharp war of nerves between those who want to sell and those who don't want to sell added to the fun of watching.
In addition, Ha-kyung was in a situation where Doha was involved in the painstaking 'wall demolition project', making it difficult to obtain the consent of the residents. Doha persuaded the residents to oppose the project. Angered by this, Ha-kyung decided to tear down the peanut house fence herself to prove that there was no problem even if she broke it down. However, because of a communication error, Faulkrain destroyed all the external and childhood memories, and her plans were disrupted. Doha appeared and offered to help Ha-kyung, who was in a difficult situation, and in the process, he said he had no intention of selling a peanut restaurant to Ha-kyung once again.
At the end of the broadcast, Doha appeared in front of the chaotic Hakyung due to the appearance of Doha and the collapsed fence, and "Song Ha-kyung, do you still hate me that much?"I asked, and with Hakyung's complicated and subtle eyes looking at him "There was always no luck in the summer. It's because Baek Do Ha always comes in the summer. And I think my summer will be horribly unlucky again this yearIt ended with her narration ". Indeed, it aroused curiosity about what stories were hidden in Doha and Hakyung's past and where their relationship would flow in the future.
Meanwhile, the second episode of KBS2's Saturday miniseries 'Last Summer' will air at 9:20 p.m. on the 2nd.
