MBC's new entertainment show `Extreme 84' has finally revealed the identity of 'mystery runner', which has been shrouded in mystery. The main character was actor Kwon Hwa-woon.

At the 'Guerrilla Running with Extreme 84 Hidden Crew One' event held in Seoul on the 23rd, the identity of 'Hidden Crew One' running with Gian84 was revealed. Despite the chilly weather, various participants completed the 8.4km course together and experienced 'extreme' with their bodies.

Participants shared the enthusiasm of running, saying, `I wanted to run like extreme 84, and after completing the race, a series of proof shots were posted on SNS, realizing the hot reaction of the field.

It was the moment when the identity of the protagonist, who stimulated viewers' curiosity with the amount of training outside of common sense, an error-free running plan, and a runaway instinct that the camera could not catch up with, was revealed.

The official poster released together showed Kwon Hwa-woon in a running suit with a bright smile against the backdrop of extreme environments. His relaxed expression in contrast to the rough earth shows the aspect of a runner who knows how to enjoy even in extreme moments, raising expectations for what kind of presence he will show in the program in the future.

Kwon Hwa-woon, who was born in 1989, started running in 2024 and achieved a full-course marathon 'Sub3 (completed within 3 hours)' in just 6 months. He is a talented runner who completed 12 full courses in the next year and set a sub-3 record in eight of them. The best record is 2 hours 45 minutes and 34 seconds (2025 JTBC Marathon), which is considered one of the leading runners in the entertainment industry. Proving the face of a 'real runner actor' with steady training and thorough self-care, he will show his true presence as a runner through 'extreme 84'.
