ILLIT Marks Historic First Anniversary with Record-Breaking Success
Mar 25, 2025

ILLIT, who is writing various records with overwhelming performance at the same time as his debut, celebrated his first anniversary on the 25th. The debut song 'Magnetic' swept various global charts, including the US Billboard 'Hot 100' and the UK's official 'Single Top 100' as the first and shortest K-pop debut song. Thanks to this, Irish won 13 awards at major music awards at home and abroad, including seven rookie awards.
Indeed, the whole world was 'super-attracted' to Irish. This is why I'm looking forward to the future of ILLIT, who draws their own paths with her quirky teenage sensibility and bold charm. Those who are constantly growing and expanding their influence on a bigger stage expressed their feelings through their agency, Belift Lab.

Q. How do you feel about our 1st anniversary
Yoona: It's already the first anniversary of our debut, so when I think about the days when we will thrive even more, it's only a year, but I don't want to lower it for some reason. There were a lot of great things, and it feels really valuable because it's been a year where I was able to be with Glit.
Minju: It was a year where I was able to grow because I had a lot of things to be thankful for and learned a lot.
Mocha: It's been a year that feels so strong. I was happy to become a singer that I dreamed of for a long time and stand on stage. and experienced a lot of things with the members, and we became more solid.
Won-Hee: It feels like only yesterday when I was excited and nervous while preparing for my debut album, but it's amazing that time has already passed. It was a meaningful year for me to have a great sense of responsibility as an Irish member as I received more love than I thought.
Iroha: I think a year has passed faster than I thought. It was a year when I was able to see and learn a lot of things after debuting. It was the most flying year of my life and I was able to perform on many stages. Above all, it has been a happy year to meet our glitter.
Q. The most memorable moment since our debut
Yoona: I always remember when 'Magnetic' topped the Melon Chart. At that time, it was my first time to win No. 1 on charts or music shows, and I didn't have time to be happy because it was all of a sudden. After experiencing and growing little by little, I realize again how great the love and support we received was.
Minju: The fan showcase was the most memorable. It was a more enjoyable time because we only had glitter and eyelet. I was so ecstatic to see the glitter who shouted our name and cheered us on.
Mocha: I also remember the debut showcase the most. It was a day that I dreamed of while preparing for my debut album with the members. I was really nervous because it was the first moment to let the world know about it.
Won-Hee: The first music show performance was also the most memorable. It was really cool to be on a stage that I've been watching on TV since I was young. I was nervous because I experienced many things for the first time, but I was able to do it well because I was with the members.
Iroha: I remember every moment, but I remember the comeback showcase. When I debuted, everything was my first time, so I was very busy, but I played a new song and saw the glitter after a long time, so I felt the most heartwarming at that moment.
Q. I spent an unforgettable year setting various new records and sweeping the rookie award. The reason why we are loved by our members is
Yoona: The charm of the members. I think I was able to be loved because the good song and concept felt fresh.
Minju: Thankfully, I think it's because the song and performance are good. Especially, I think we received a lot of love with lyrics that our peers can relate to. Finger point choreography is also easy to follow, so it has been used a lot on short-form platforms.
Mocha: From the debut song 'Magnetic', fans from various countries as well as Korea gave great love, and I think good songs work everywhere. I was surprised to see Eilet's songs on various charts all year round.
Won-hee: Songs, performances and styling that exude the unique atmosphere of Irish. And thanks to the people who love and support us, we were able to shine and be loved more.
Iroha: I think it's because of our members, the staff around us, and because of the support and hard work of Gleet for Irish.
Q. What do you do the most and care about to grow
Yoona: Whenever I prepare an album, I tend to pay attention to the tone and pronunciation by referring to the demo sound source. I monitor the performance often, and I'm going to try to fix my personal regrets through individual practice. For the difficult part, we are upgrading by asking for help from the performance director.
Minju: I've been practicing the parts that I can't do well over and over again. I'm using the method of filming and monitoring videos the most.
Mocha: I'm trying to show 100% without being nervous on stage. If you get nervous, you can make mistakes that you don't usually make, so I try to fully understand it so that your body remembers it. I'm increasing my practice more day by day.
Won-hee: We are practicing constantly to show you good performances. We're discussing a lot about the performance in order to match the five members well. And since there are a lot of detailed choreography, I'm paying attention to each movement.
Iroha: I want to be good at both vocal and performance. I want to do live performances well and express my facial expressions naturally, so I catch what I lack and practice until the end until I am satisfied with myself.

Yoona: I hope you don't get sick this year, stay healthy, and meet the expectations of the glitter as much as you've worked hard.
Minju: I want to be loved by the public and the glitter again with the songs of Eilit.
Mocha: The goal is to have a solo performance. I want to show you the performances of the songs we've released and make happy memories with you.
Won-hee: I want to meet more glits this year.
Iroha: I'd like to hold a solo concert at the Dome concert hall and see it filled with glitter and eyelet cheering sticks.
Q. If there's anything you want to say to the members you've been with for the past year
Yoona: Everyone worked so hard for a year. There were a lot of rewarding things. Let's continue to work hard and show ourselves to many people. Let's be healthy this year, too. I love you!
Minju: You worked so hard and I was happy because of you. There were a lot of things I couldn't do alone, but I was able to do everything because of the members. More days are waiting for us, so let's rely on each other to work!
Mocha: You did a great job for a year. It's just the beginning, so let's work harder and show good performances.
Won-Hee: Our members did a great job. I'm always doing well. Let's keep up the good work!
Iroha: There were a lot of fun and difficult things, but I think we were able to endure it because we were all with the members. Thank you. Don't get sick and let's cheer up!
Q. What do you want to say to GLLIT who will be with you in the future
Yoona: Glit shines and is more precious than anyone else. I'm always grateful and sorry to Glit who worked harder and endured better than us. Don't get sick and eat well. I love you!
Minju: I think I always feel grateful and sorry for Glit. Let's be happy together for the rest of our lives because we will deliver as good energy and repay you as much as the love that Glit gave us. I value and love you more than anyone else.
Mocha: We'll show you more in the future, so please look forward to it!
Won-hee: Glitter is a grateful thing. We will never forget the love and support you give us. Let's continue to be together!
Iroha: It's great to spend our first anniversary with our glitter. I was able to promote happily thanks to Glit's always thinking and loving us. We will try to give you more love than the love that Glit gives us.
