LE SSERAFIM’s ‘Ash’ Banned from KBS for Controversial Content



The new song of the group Le Sserafim has been declared ineligible for KBS broadcasting.

KBS announced the results of its review of K-pop songs on the 5th. According to this, Le Seraphim's fifth mini-album 'Hot'Ash' was judged ineligible for broadcasting for glorifying physical and mental abuse such as self-inflicted acts or disgusting it with cruel content.

Correcting or deleting the part pointed out can lead to re-deliberation. KBS broadcasting will be possible if it is judged eligible at the re-deliberation. However, since 'Ash' is not even the title song, it seems unlikely that Le Seraphim will change the song and be re-examined.




Le Seraphim will release a new album 'Hot' at 1 p.m. on the 14th. The title song 'Hot' is pop music with rock and disco, and even if the ending is unknown, Le Seraphim's bold determination to burn everything down for what he likes.
