J-Hope’s ‘Mona Lisa’ Debuts at No. 65 on Billboard Hot 100

According to the latest chart of the U.S. music media Billboard released on the 1st (April 5), J-Hope's digital single 'MONA LISA' entered the Billboard main song chart 'Hot 100' at 65th place. This marks J-Hope's seventh career chart as a solo artist, marking the highest entry for a K-pop solo artist. The existing record holder is BTS Jungkook.
Starting with the 2019 song 'Chicken Noodle Soup (feat. Becky G)' (No. 81), j-hope has consistently achieved results by posting the double title track of his first solo album 'Jack In The Box' (No. 82), 'fire (Arson)' (No. 96), and his 2023 solo single 'on the street (with J. Cole)' (60th) on the Hot 100'.
In particular, this year alone, J-Hope made all three songs 'LV Bag (feat. j-hope & Pharrell Williams)'(83rd), 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)'(66th), and 'MONA LISA' successfully entered 'Hot 100'.
J-Hope also stood out on the global song chart. 'MONA LISA' broke its own highest ranking at 'Global 200'14th and 'Global (excluding the United States)'9th. In particular, it was the first time on the chart 'Global (excluding the United States)' to prove its global popularity.
In addition to this, 'MONA LISA' entered a number of charts, going straight to the top of 'Digital Song Sales', proving the potential of global artists.
Solo works by BTS members are also still popular. J-Hope's other digital single 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' has been on 'Global 200' (41st) and 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' (21st) for three consecutive weeks. The title track of Jimin's second solo album 'MUSE' (No. 45), Jungkook's first solo single 'Seven (feat. Latto)' (120th) stayed at 'Global 200', while 'Who'(No. 32)' and 'Seven (feat. Latto)'(65th) stayed at 'Global (excluding the United States).
