H Music Entertainment announced on the 1st that it will launch a new girl group in the first half of this year.
Earlier on the 31st of last month, a short 10-second logo motion video was released on the official social media channel of HITGS (Hidges). The video showed five stars rising into the blue sky with mysterious music. The stars gathered together in a circle, under which the logo of the group HITGS was engraved to draw attention.
HITGS is a new girl group introduced by Kim Kang-hyo, CEO of H Music Entertainment, who has served at Starship Entertainment for 17 years. CEO Kim Kang-hyo is a person who has built high success know-how and infrastructure in idol discovery and production through production and management of MONSTA X, WJSN, CRAVITY, and IVE, and his first girl group launch is even more expected.
The group name HITGS stands for Hip, Innocent, Teenager, Girls, and Story, which tells the story of all the members' favorite things. The pure passion of teenage girls toward their dreams, new music and performances that have never been seen anywhere, and lovely and unique charms have all come together to create an identity unique to HITGS.
HITGS was previously formed under the name Project H and took a hot step even before its official debut. Last year, it made an unusual first performance through the pre-show of '2024 SBS Music Competition', and attended the 'TIRTIR' pop-up store opening event and the '2025 F/W Seoul Fashion Week' to announce the appearance of a new face.
