Kim Tae-yeon held a showcase for her first full-length album 'Excitement' at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul on the 9th. "When I was an elementary school student, I was in heaven."Now that I'm a junior high school student, I've changed my level."
Kim Tae-yeon, who was born in 2012, started pansori at the age of four and swept various competitions in the Korean traditional music industry and was called the `pansori world prodigy.' Then, he earned the nickname 'Baby Tiger' for his sharp and immersive stage in 'Miss Trot2', which ended in 2021, and rose to the final fourth place. He expanded his singing career with a full-fledged 'Trot prodigy'; in September 2022, the single 'Cheer up!', In April 2023, it released 'Go Taryeong'.
Kim Tae-yeon, who has already become a middle school student, is now back with her first full-length album. "When I entered middle school, I was definitely different from elementary school," Kim Tae-yeon said. "When I was in elementary school, I was in heaven. When I was in elementary school, middle school girls said, "Is that a good time?" "Why is it a good time?"I thought ' When I became a middle school student, I realized that it was good then. The level of study has changed, too," he said, expressing his feelings about becoming a middle school student first.
He also pointed out his 'main job' between study and singer. Kim Tae-yeon "I like it better when I sing. Academic work gives me a headache. I solve the pain I had because of my studies with songs. Singing isn't easy, but I think it's less difficult than studying," he confessed.
The first full-length album contains the stage experience, sincerity about music, and bright energy of a teenage girl. It adds deeper expressive power and energy to the inner workings that he has cultivated with pansori as a child.
As it was her first full-length album, Kim Tae-yeon participated in the album work process from album design to concept. The album will feature a total of 11 songs, including double titles such as 'Encore' and 'Sewolgang', showing Kim Tae-yeon's more solid vocals and rich musical colors.
