The agency Cube Entertainment released Mi-yeon's digital single 'Sky Walking' through the official SNS channel of (Mi-yeon, Min-ni, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua) on the 27th, announcing the official release at 6 p.m. on the 28th.
In the coming-soon teaser, the image of the gift box with the phrase 'Sky Walking' on the hotel luggage cart drew attention. Mi-yeon showed a variety of charms by transforming into a hotelier and ballerina in a special clip released prior to the sound source. The release of the song 'Sky Walking' is expected to be a special gift for fans following the special clip.
'Sky Walking' is a combination of lyrical lyrics and refreshing tones written and composed by Mi-yeon herself. Mi-yeon is expanding her musical capabilities by taking her first steps as a singer-songwriter through 'Sky Walking' and participating in writing and composing the children's 8th mini album 'We are'Unstoppable' released in May.
'Sky Walking' was first unveiled at the children's third world tour '2024 (G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR ' in Seoul in August last year, and performed for the first time in October at 'KCON GERMANY 2024' (KCON Germany 2024). Later in December, a special clip of 'Sky Walking" was released, drawing attention.
Mi-yeon's children were honored with the '2025 TME Live International Music Awards' held at the Galaxy Arena in Macau on the 23rd. On October 3, it will speed up its global activities with the release of the Japanese EP 'i-dle.
