Jun-K recently met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Gangnam, Seoul, featuring Changbin from Stray Kids"I want the fans to listen to Changbin's part."
The 4th mini-album 'Dear my muse' is Jun-K's first mini-album in about 4 years and 9 months since his 3rd mini-album '20 min'20 min' in December 2020, and the new album will be released after the digital single 'Paint this love' in August last year.
Jun-K says "The mini album took a long time. In the meantime, I have been on a solo tour continuously. In the middle, there was a 2PM album, two Japanese albums were released, and we toured and stayed like that. I released a short single in September last year, and I thought I should release an album in Korea this year," he said, explaining how he has been doing so far.
In terms of releasing a new report for the first time in a long time "Of course, there was also a burden. After 17 years of activities, I feel more grateful to the fans who protect me to continue my music while performing and over time. I prepared this album with the hope that it will be a gift."

What I paid attention to for this album was "I tried to challenge myself a lot musically. I wanted it to be a gift in itself, rather than showing it musically. I wanted everyone to be comfortable with listening."
The reason why the album was named 'Muse' is that the album was not named first. I'm most jealous of people who sing well, and I want to live like that in the future. When performing, there is an indescribable look in the audience. Rather than feeling as a fan, there is a feeling of happiness while breathing while watching the performance.
Also, "After years of feeling grateful for this, I wanted it to mean something to those who liked it, and to let me be a person who can do music means a fan is a muse." There are many meanings, but I think everyone who listens to my album is a muse," he nodded.
As for the lyrics of all the songs "In the case of a solo album, I have been writing the lyrics of all the songs. In the past, it felt like I was hanging on like crazy and making a song and releasing an album by myself. But this time, among the songs I've been collecting, there were thankfully songs that matched the direction. I wrote the lyrics there and told him the process of working on it.
As a reason for maintaining a singer-songwriter, "I think it's because that's what I can do well musically. In the past, he was also stubborn, saying, "Should I bring a unique genre that I don't do these days?" But music is in an era of upgrade. I think music is a visualized era. I think there are different paths, how it is seen, how it touches the skin, how it feels. Rather, he confessed, "I think about how to reach it and how to solve the world view of music.'

Jun-K thought the title song was easy listening. As well as for the fans, I made this song the title song with the hope that if it reached the public, I would listen comfortably. So the entire album was easy listening. I maintained the genre or direction I pursued. I prepared it with the mindset that everyone doesn't like or dislike it," he said.
He then hoped that the title would be 'R&B something' or 'Somehow R&B'. While writing the song, I thought it was more like pop than R&B. So I melted it into the lyrics. There was a pun of 'R' and 'B', and it was also expressed as a love song. I think it's an easy listening song."
In particular, the title song 'R&B ME' featured Stray Kids Changbin. Jun-K said "When I made a song, it was all just a song. I quickly wrote the rap lyrics with the hope that there would be a point. I wanted someone to feature, but I suddenly remembered Changbin's voice. I was wondering if Changbin could do it for me, but he said he would gladly do it. Changbin is also a friend who writes songs and lyrics, so if you want to change the lyrics, you should do it. He recorded it right away, saying, "How can you change what you wrote?"," he said, expressing his gratitude to Chang-bin.
Another point to pay attention to during this album's activities is 'Changbin's featuring'. Jun.K said "What I want you to pay attention to in this album is the song. I want you to pay attention to the song. In the case of the title song, Changbin featured in it. It's been a long time since I debuted, I've consumed a lot of images, and K-pop idol fans of the current era may not know the music of our time or who I am. I think most people don't know. Changbin featured in it. I hope STAY (Stray Kids' official fandom) will listen to Changbin's part, not just my songs. If that's the case, I hope you listen to my music again," he said with a smile.

Jun-K says "Summer Room Tour" is creating an atmosphere that he's been to in the summer. It first started last year. I went to South America for the first time then. I couldn't even make it to the group activities. There were fans who cheered for me since a long time ago. I didn't know. It was amazing to see them cheer for us so hotly," he said, expressing his pride.
This year's 'Summer Room Tour' held a special donation event and shared valuable values with fans.
Jun-K said "I thought about giving earlier this year. If I perform, I sell goods, so I thought about how to make it meaningful. I wanted to do it myself first. We had a meeting in person with 'Teddy Bear for Kids' and talked to the company after several meetings. It is a foundation that donates to pediatric cancer patients. I think it would be nice if the fans and the audience participated. I looked into each hospital and went there myself after the next day. When you buy one teddy bear, you donate one to the hospital. I donated the sales revenue. It seems to be meaningful to participate together. Thankfully, a lot of people participated."
The expected response is "I want the fans who listen to my music to be happy, but I think they will feel a little different." First of all, there are too many English lyrics. It seems to be in a different atmosphere from the previous music I released. I did a lot of lyrical atmosphere, but this time it became a little hip. It's a little trendy. I want it to feel like it's new. And I hope you can feel Jun.K's love"I hoped.
It's been 10 years since I debuted as a soloist in 2016. As for the next 10 years, "My dream is to continue where I am, thinking positively. My dream is to be a person who can do music 10 years later and 20 years later. I always think about the album I released 10 years ago or the album that will be released 10 years later. I have work left, I don't want to regret it, I try to do my best as much as I can. If you listen to the album released in 2016, of course, there are some regrets, but I'm not ashamed. When I heard "Dear My Muse" 10 years later, I'm sure it'll be an album that I'm not ashamed of, but I think it'll be an album that I'm not ashamed of," he said emphatically.
I'd appreciate it if a lot of people would listen to it. I hope we can meet and talk with reporters 10 years later"I shuddered.
Jun-K's 4th mini album 'Dear My Muse' will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 1st.
