Jun-K recently met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Gangnam, Seoul, saying, `I've been at JYP for 21 years, and it's an honest and right company.' `My title is director of foreign cooperation.'
The 4th mini-album 'Dear my muse' is Jun-K's first mini-album in about 4 years and 9 months since his 3rd mini-album '20 min'20 min' in December 2020, and the new album will be released after the digital single 'Paint this love' in August last year.
While working on this album, Jun-K felt grateful for JYP. "I feel like I'm working on a JYP system that's easier to work on than before."In the past, Jun-K used to talk to (Park) Jin-young on the phone early in the morning, even when revising, for what reason. Now, it feels like a work that everyone has done together within the systematic JYP system."
As I've been at JYP for 21 years, I've been watching the changes. Jun-K said "When I first joined the company, there were only three employees. It is said that there are about 700 people now. I've seen the company grow so big. I saw a lot of bumps in the middle when the system was made, and I think everything is great, starting with (Park) Jin-young who will make this. "
Then "I think it's great to see that employees are proud to work for the company. Welfare is good, but beyond welfare, it doesn't seem easy to be proud to work for this company. I also came to think of that."

Everyone says it's the secret to staying at JYP, but I went to see (Park) Jin-young with a concern of 'Can I stay here?' Thankfully, my brother said, 'Thank you for being here for a long time.'"
He is the director of foreign cooperation at JYP. Jun.K. is the director of external cooperation (laughs). But actually, I don't know what external cooperation has been done. Of course, other artists have also been cast or met. It's not easy to make it happen. I don't know if that's foreign cooperation," he said with a smile.
Coincidentally, the track video of the album's track "Privacy" depicts the life of an office worker. Jun-K said "I think it's the director's idea. I thought the atmosphere was close to hip-hop, but I could visually solve it like this. That made me appreciate the JYP system." "I'm more of an artist than I'm moving from JYP. I actually exercise every day, but I don't have work every day. So I was amazed that office workers went to work in the morning and took care of themselves.
Jun-K's 4th mini album 'Dear My Muse' will be released on various music sites at 6 p.m. on the 1st.
