Earlier, Chef Ahn Yoo-sung visited Muan International Airport on the 30th to deliver 200 servings of gimbap that he had prepared to the bereaved families of the Jeju Air plane disaster.

Meanwhile, a Jeju Air passenger plane crashed into the structure and the outer wall of the airport and exploded at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do on the 29th.

The plane was carrying 181 people, including 175 passengers and six crew members, and 179 people were killed except for the two rescued crew members. It was the disaster that caused the most casualties among aircraft accidents in Korea. The government designated a week until January 4 as a period of national mourning.
