Police Raid Song Min-ho’s Workplace Over Poor Service Allegations

The police raided the past work place of Song Min-ho, a member of the group WINNER, who was suspected of working poorly as a social service worker.

The Mapo Police Station in Seoul said on the 27th that it raided the Mapo residents' convenience facility in Mapo-gu, where Song Min-ho worked, at around 1:50 p.m.

With this search and seizure, the police secured closed circuits (CCTVs) at Song Min-ho's workplace.

Earlier, the police filed an investigation request from the Military Manpower Administration on the 23rd and booked Song on charges of violating the Military Service Act on the same day.

It has been confirmed that the Military Manpower Administration conducted its own investigation and requested an investigation because it judged that there was a need for a police investigation.

The Military Manpower Administration reportedly said that if Song Min-ho was found to have had a problem with his service attitude in the police investigation, even if the convocation was lifted, he should cancel the cancellation and re-serve for the duration of the problem.

On this day, SBS 'Curious Story Y' is preparing to broadcast about Song Min-ho, who has recently been embroiled in controversy over poor service of social service personnel.

The production team met Sung-hyun (a pseudonym) who said he worked with Song Min-ho for about a year and heard testimony about Song Min-ho's actual work. Until now, Song Min-ho has been in charge of dealing with civil petitioners or delivering bills to the post office at a public parking lot or an industrial complex that manages convenience facilities. However, Sung-hyun said that Song Min-ho did not properly perform phone calls and face-to-face work because he was a 'celebrity' whose name and face are known.

In addition, he is suspected of not going to work for a long time, using annual leave and sick leave with a fixed number of uses. Also on the 23rd, when the call-up was released, Song Min-ho did not go to work using sick leave.

Song Min-ho said in a broadcast before joining the army that he suffers from panic disorder and bipolar disorder, so the facility also adjusted him from 10 p.m. to 7 p.m. by work time in consideration of him taking medicine. However, it was revealed that he went to his younger brother's wedding in San Francisco around May last year and traveled to Hawaii in October this year while he was serving, adding to people's doubts about his alleged poor work.

The manager, who was in charge of Song Min-ho, claims that he brought Song Min-ho when he moved from Mapo Facilities Management Corporation to a resident-friendly facility, so he will also delve into the relationship between the two.
