Song Min-ho will be relieved of his call-up as a social service worker. He entered the Army Training Center on March 24 last year and received basic military training and continued his alternative service as a social service worker.
Recently, however, a media outlet raised suspicions about the relationship between L, the head of the community facility, and Song Min-ho while Song Min-ho, who started alternative service at the Mapo Facility Management Corporation, moved to the Mapo Residents' Convenience Facility in March, a year later. In particular, Song Min-ho visited Hawaii on October 30 for five nights and six days, but he did not appear at his workplace until November 11-15, and Mapo residents' convenience facilities countered that he was hospitalized after spending sick leave and annual leave.
Song Min-ho's agency YG Entertainment said "It is difficult to confirm the details of the artist's service. However, the reason for sick leave is the extension of the treatment received before service, and all other vacations were used in accordance with the regulations" made a statement.
However, despite the explanation, it was reported that a complaint was received at the police station asking the Seoul Mapo Police Station to thoroughly investigate Song Min-ho and A, the head of Mapo residents' convenience facilities.
According to the National Newspaper, the complainant A said, "Although Song Min-ho is obligated to faithfully perform his 'military duty' as prescribed by the Constitution of the Republic of Korea and the Military Service Act, it is judged that the 'suspected manipulation of routine work' was raised during the service of social service personnel. It is not a self-restraint investigation by the Military Manpower Administration, but a matter that should be thoroughly investigated by the police."
He added that the Seoul Mapo Police Station strongly urges WINNER member Song Min-ho to thoroughly investigate the charges of violating Article 89-2 of the Military Service Act (deprivation of service by social service personnel, etc.) and the violation of Article 122 of the Criminal Code (abandonment of duty) by L, the head of Mapo Residents' Convenience Facility, to be punished severely if the offense is revealed.
Accordingly, the Mapo Police Station in Seoul reportedly received a civil petition and launched an internal investigation. The police plan to check the CC (closed circuit) TV of the institution where Song Min-ho works.
Meanwhile, Psy served in the military for 35 months from 2002 as an industrial technician, but was declared in poor service in 2007 and rejoined the Army's 52nd Division in December that year, and was discharged from the military after 20 months of service. As a result, a lot of attention is being paid to the cancellation of the convocation on the day whether Song Min-ho will also be in the process of rejoining the military.
