The Guardian, the British daily newspaper, also reported that "One of Hollywood's bad habits is to split the story in half to double its profits. While "Squid Game 2" was originally a perfect story, it became the most profitable series in Netflix's history, putting it in trouble on the creative side. Season 2 painfully drags the story on too many episodes. Season 3 will have to get better."
