Starting with donations for forest fires in Gangwon-do in 2019, Lim Si-wan has been showing good influence by steadily participating in donations through Hope Bridge for major and minor disasters such as typhoons and heavy rains.
In accordance with the will of the provisional member, the specific amount of donations will not be disclosed.
Earlier, at 9:03 a.m. on the 29th, a Jeju Air flight 7C2216 from Bangkok, Thailand, exploded after colliding with the wall of the airport's outer wall during an emergency landing at Muan International Airport in Jeollanam-do.
A total of 181 passengers, including 175 passengers and six crew members, were on the plane, and all but two Thais were confirmed to be Korean passengers.
The accident killed all 179 passengers except for two crew members.
Accordingly, the government declared Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, a special disaster area, and designated seven days as a national mourning period until 24:00 on the 4th of next month.
