IVE Tops Oricon, Billboard Japan, and Tower Records



IVE (Ahn Yu-jin, Autumn, Ray, Jang Won-young, Liz, and Lee Seo) once again proved the global 'IVE syndrome' by dominating major Japanese charts.

According to Japan's Oricon on the 7th, Abe's third Japanese album 'Be Alight' topped the latest 'Oricon weekly combined album ranking' (August 11/July 28-August 3). It also topped the weekly album rankings, which were compiled during the same period, and achieved two Oricon weekly charts.

'Oricon weekly combined album ranking' is a chart that ranks CD sales, digital downloads, and streaming numbers. Oricon said "Violite's weekly point surpassed the record of his second album in Japan "ALIVE", setting his own record."It was the highest weekly point among female artists abroad this year." he explained.




IVE's popularity continued in Billboard Japan. The song "Bee It" ranked No. 1 on the 6th of Billboard Japan's "Top Albums Sales" (counting period: July 28 to August 3). As a result, Ive reached the top of the chart for the third time after the first Japanese albums 'WAVE' and 'Alive', achieving the No. 1 ranking for three consecutive albums.

In addition, 'Be Allit' topped the latest 'All-Out Comprehensive Album' released by Tower Records (counting period: July 28th to August 3rd), and Ive proved its overwhelming presence and global influence by dominating all major Japanese music charts such as Oricon, Billboard Japan, and Tower Records.
