『Coach Maeng's Haters』, scheduled to be broadcast in the first half of this year, depicts a two-man game comedy in which professional basketball coach Maeng-gong, who is on the verge of being kicked out due to poor performance, joins hands with his haters to improve his team's performance.
The film won the grand prize in last year's MBC Drama Playwriting Contest, and is expected to be highly praised for its excellent relationship with the two main characters. As Park Sung-woong and Park Sang-hoon added strength to the solid script, interest in the work is increasing.
Park Sung-woong played the role of the coach of the professional basketball team 'Big Pandas', which has been on the verge of eliminating the playoffs for three consecutive years. He used to be a star player who used to pour 'Invasion' on the court when he was young, but is now notorious as a representative 'Young Kkondae' coach in the professional basketball world. Park Sung-woong, who boasts an intense presence, will lead the play with three-dimensional character interpretation and immersive acting.
Park Sang-hoon plays Ko Hwa-jin, a dedicated malicious commentator on the onslaught. He is a third-year high school student who knows how to analyze basketball in seconds and starts posting malicious comments with hostility and revenge for the onslaught. Park Sang-hoon, who showed impressive performances through the movie "Ordinary Family" and the drama "Wonderful" is expected to show a new acting transformation through this film.
MBC's two-part drama `Director Maeng's Haters' will meet viewers in the first half of this year.
