IU and Lee Jong-suk Donate 200 Million Won for Wildfire Relief

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association said on the 26th and 27th that IU and Lee Jong-seok donated to support forest fire damage.
IU donated 100 million won to help those affected and an additional 100 million won to improve the treatment and awareness of firefighters dedicated to the disaster sites.
IU said, `We hope that the forest fires will be extinguished as soon as possible without further casualties.'
Lee Jong-seok also delivered 100 million won for the victims.
IU has previously exerted a good influence by participating in donations in various disasters such as helping flood neighbors in 2020 and forest fires on the east coast in 2022.
In particular, IU's official donation until recently amounted to about 6 billion won, and she was the youngest to be listed on the Forbes list of 「30 Asian Donation Heroes」 in 2019.
The donation will be used to provide emergency support and relief supplies for residents in forest fire-affected areas such as Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
Meanwhile, Lee Jong-suk is publicly dating IU.
The two have developed a relationship with SBS 'Inkigayo' MC and have continued to meet well after 10 years.
