On the morning of the 16th, Wheesung's funeral and seal were strictly observed at the funeral hall of Seoul Samsung Hospital in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. With the raindrops falling sadly, about 100 people, including Wheesung's family, colleagues in the entertainment industry, and fans, guarded the last path of the deceased.
Choi Hyuk-sung, the younger brother of the deceased, said, `Hwisung's human life will end, but his music will live on forever. "As long as my brother's song is heard in the world, the brother is alive," said Mighty Mouse Chuplex, in memory of the artist who knew nothing but music.
Ostrich Entertainment, the agency, said "Artist Wheesung. He will be with us forever in our hearts."
Young Kyung-sik ended with a video of Wheesung's stage during his lifetime and one of his hits, 'The Day We Met Again'.
Later, singers Ha Dong-kyun and Chuplex visited the coffin with their bereaved families. All those who visited the scene sobbed and grieved their farewell to the deceased.
The deceased rests in Gwangneung Memorial Park.

The exact cause of death is still unknown, but syringes have been found around the body. The police will request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service (National Forensic Service) to reveal the cause of death by referring to the findings of the National Forensic Service.
Initially, the bereaved family tried to hold a funeral quietly only with their families, but a mortuary was set up late on the 14th so that the deceased's way out would not be lonely.
