The legal battle between New Jeans members and agency Adore, who are in dispute over exclusive contracts, has begun in earnest.

On the morning of the 7th, the Seoul Central District Court's Civil Agreement Department 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon) held an interrogation date for Ador's request for provisional injunction against the five members of Newzins. All five members attended the court on that day, and Kim Joo-young, CEO of A-Door, also appeared.

Five members of the New Jeans began their own activities in November last year, saying that the contract was terminated due to the violation of Audor's exclusive contract. In December of the same year, Adore filed a lawsuit against the members in the Seoul Central District Court for the validity of the exclusive contract, and in January, he applied for a prohibition on the preservation of the status of an agency and the conclusion of an advertising contract with the aim of `preventing members from signing their own advertising contracts.'

Since then, the members of the Newzins have changed their activity name to 'NJZ' in February, and they have also announced a Hong Kong performance from the 21st to the 23rd. On February 11, Adore expanded the purpose of applying for a provisional injunction, saying, `Please ban music activities such as writing, composing, and singing of Newzins.'

The issue at the trial was 'Dore's parent company'Hive and Adore discriminated against Newgens or not' Referring to the investment and support of activities towards Newgins, Adore refuted the Newgins position that 'discriminate'. He argued that there is no reason for the termination of the exclusive contract. However, citing their experience of being discriminated against, the members of the New Jeans called it "a serious violation of the exclusive contract of Doror"."

"It is only possible if the exclusive contract violates important obligations such as failure to provide opportunities for entertainment activities or failure to settle the proceeds. (Dore) fulfilled all the essential and core duties of the exclusive contract. "There is no real reason for Newzins, but it has nothing to do with the main contents of the contract," Odor said.

In addition, he said, "'Hive hates and discriminates against Newgins' as the reason for termination of the contract, but it doesn't make sense for a profit-seeking private company to bury the only and major source of revenue on its own.'"

He also mentioned the dedication of employees and Hive's investment of 21 billion won. "The members' talents and efforts alone cannot explain all the success of New Jin's," Adore said. "The guarantee of the exclusive contract period is the foundation of the K-pop industry, and breaking it down will affect the structure of the industry."

In addition, referring to Newzins' independent actions, "Newzins is building up violations of exclusive contracts. Aren't you trying to create a situation that's too far away to be with Audor?"

In response, the members responded, "'The essence of the case is that Hive and Adore tried to discriminate against and reject Newgins, replace them with other groups, and discard them.'"

At the same time, he mentioned in turn the allegations that Eilit copied the overall concept of Newzins, that the members leaked videos when they were trainees of Source Music, attacked former CEO Min Hee-jin and Odor, and that other label managers in Hive told member Hani to 'Ignore you'.

In response, he argued that "Adore claims that it was done by Hivna's other label, but admits that it is not capable of prevention and follow-up measures."

Audor's request for provisional injunction was only frustrating at the attitude that even a celebrity's whole personality cannot be done without the permission of a creditor. "(The essence) is about the illegal activities of a specific agency, not related to the K-pop industry."

Hive attempted to change the management on the grounds of former CEO Min's attempt to take over management rights, and the court cited a request for an injunction against the exercise of voting rights on Min's dismissal agenda, but also mentioned the board's decision to dismiss Min in the end.

Members said, "Former CEO Min Hee-jin created an unrivaled successful girl group in music, music videos, and choreography, and ousted them without consulting with Newzins."This is a significant breach of management obligations for Newzins" he also said.

Finally, the members and CEO Kim made the remarks they had been preparing. CEO Kim said, "There is only one reason why we applied for this provisional injunction. "Because I want to be with the members of the New Jeans. Please give a chance to our members who ran with all their heart thinking about the New Jeans. We will support Newzins with all our capabilities and wholeheartedness."

"Far from supporting and protecting, member Min-ji decided that it was no longer possible to carry out activities and contracts at the door where he was bullied in an invisible place, so he terminated the contract. Please understand this feeling."

Daniel then said, `Our team always includes CEO (Min Hee-jin). We stand on stage with five people, but we are a team of six people. I want to be with the CEO in the future"I'd like to stress that I don't want to be with Audor no matter how the results come out"Wept.

The court plans to end the interrogation on the 14th after receiving additional evidence and data related to the lawsuit for a week. Afterwards, he announced that he would decide the outcome of the provisional disposition as soon as it was organized.

Apart from the lawsuit, Adore has also filed a lawsuit with the court to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract, saying the contract with Newzins remains valid. The first hearing of the lawsuit is scheduled to be held on the 3rd of next month.
