 BTS J-Hope, Suga, 100 million won to recover from forest fires



BTS J-Hope and Suga have joined the recovery of forest fire damage.

The agency Big Hit Music announced on the 27th that J-Hope and Suga donated money to support forest fire damage in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam. Through their agency, they hope that the prolonged forest fire situation will be completed as soon as possible. I hope that those who have lost their homes and are struggling and everyone who is working on evolution will quickly return to a peaceful daily life. I hope this donation will be a little comfort and hope."

J-Hope donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. Donations will be used for disaster emergency relief, recovery of local communities after disasters, and support for the vulnerable. Following the donation of flood money in 2023, J-Hope also delivered donations to help the bereaved families of the plane accident.




Suga donated 100 million won through the Korean Red Cross. The donation will be used to support food and beverage and daily necessities needed for residents affected by the forest fires. Earlier in 2022, Suga donated 100 million won to help neighbors affected by forest fires in Uljin, North Gyeongsang Province, and Samcheok, Gangwon Province.

Meanwhile, BTS, where they belong, has been practicing various good deeds for about eight years since 2017. Together with his agency Big Hit Music, he is conducting a campaign called 'LOVE MYSELF' to convey the value of loving oneself and the message of eradicating violence. BTS's official fan club ARMY (Army.Fandom Name) is also steadily practicing sharing for vulnerable children and adolescents, creating a beautiful virtuous cycle.
