TV Chosun 'News9' reported on the 5th that a woman in her 40s, B, who was passing in front of the restaurant A, suddenly fell in November last year and was injured for four weeks. The place is an area where many people pass through during the day because there are trails and crosswalks nearby. However, the accident occurred because the restaurant's glass barrel was not properly fixed.
B had bruises on his legs and face and demanded a settlement of 3.8 million won in the name of hospital treatment costs, but A refused. Accordingly, B filed a complaint against A on charges of negligence. Mr. A is known to have been investigated by the police twice.
Mr. A's lawyer responded, "'I asked for the minimum basis for the amount of damage requested by the victim, but I did not receive it.'" Mr. B's lawyer responded, "'As I was told to charge individual medical expenses separately, it became as if I was getting approval from my boss.'"
Mr. A is a popular chef who appeared on a TV entertainment program and made his face known.
