In response, Sungshin Women's University Professor Seo Kyung-duk pointed out that "'Squid Game' Season 2 was also the case when it was released, and in China, 'Thief City Hall' is now a daily situation." In particular, Professor Seo criticized "It's even more absurd that I don't feel any shame about this behavior."

Until now, there has been a great controversy in China for using the portrait rights of Hallyu stars who appeared in K-content at will, making fake products and selling them as their profit structure.

Recently, 'I was completely deceived' has been gaining huge popularity at home and abroad, making the top 10 list in 41 countries including Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Turkey, the Philippines, and Vietnam, including Korea.

Professor Seo said, `Chinese Internet users should first have a mind to respect other countries' contents, rather than making a forced claim that `Korea stole Chinese culture.'
