Regarding the purpose of the petition, the petitioner said, "'Please raise the age of rape for minors, which only protects children between the ages of 13 and 16, to those between the ages of 13 and 19 and strengthen the sentence.'"




In addition, referring to Kim Soo-hyun's alleged underage relationship, "Unfortunately, the reality is that Kim Soo-hyun cannot be legally punished because the crime of adultery protects only children between the ages of 13 and under 16. In order to prevent a recurrence, we petition for the revision of the agenda rape crime of minors under the name of the 「Kim Soo-hyun Prevention Act」 as follows. 1. The age of 13 to 16 years old, which is the applicable age for the current minors' agenda rape crime, will be raised to 13 to 19 years old. 2. The current sentence for the crime of agenda rape for minors, which is a fine for harassment, rape for more than 2 years, will be changed from imprisonment for imprisonment for more than 2 years, rape for more than 5 years, and imprisonment for more than 5 years. " Minor agenda rape is established when an adult over the age of 19 commits adultery with a minor over the age of 13.

The petition, which began on the 31st, received the consent of about 3,000 people on the morning of the 1st. The petition will run until the 30th of this month, and if more than 50,000 people agree, it will be transferred to the National Assembly's competent committee and related committees.
