According to foreign media on the 17th, a woman claimed to have been sexually assaulted twice by Nick Carter in 2005 when she was 19 years old.
According to the 10-page complaint, the woman visited Carter's apartment in Los Angeles for several months and had three consensual sexes. The woman agreed to have sex in the beginning, but when she refused sex in early 2005, she was forced to rape her. "Nick Carter did not use contraception, including wearing condoms, saying he had no sexually transmitted diseases. He was later diagnosed with stage 2 cancer of his own country with HPV infection in July of the same year," he said.
The woman reportedly sued Nick Carter on charges of sexual assault and emotional abuse and is seeking $15,000 (KRW 21.42 million) in damages.
The lawyer representing the woman argued that "It takes deep courage and resilience for survivors of sexual violence to come out publicly in the pursuit of justice, especially in the music industry where sexual exploitation has been rampant for a long time."
However, Carter's attorney denies all charges and is engaged in a baseless conspiracy to undermine Nick Carter's reputation. I don't even remember meeting him, not to mention his relationship with the accuser."
