Park Hae-soo met with Sports Chosun at JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square Seoul in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the 9th and interviewed Netflix's original series 『Akyeon" (played by Lee Il-hyung, directed by Lee Il-hyung). Park Hae-soo said "Episodes each actor has their own roles, so I've never seen them all at once with one breath. There were some acting I didn't see while acting, so I enjoyed watching it. My character is different in the first half and the second half, but there was also a burden of change. I wondered if it was expressed, and I wondered if the part that I studied and thought about came out well. There was a burden because the character had to be put together so well that it would become commonplace."
Park Hae-soo "When I think about how this character was going to change, I didn't take the point of the changing character and act. I left it to the situation after judging only what choice the character made, his thoughts narrowed, and his exact goal. I think it made the point of change into directing. I didn't try to change the character on purposeIt seems that it was easy because there was an external change in the part of pretending to be Park Jae-young (Lee Hee-jun) in the second half. As the shape of the body changed with the mask of burn, the character of pain came out and the goal became accurately clear.
He then tried to play a rural young man like a slightly less distant sociopath who meets Gyeongnam (Lee Kwang-soo), who is an adult who is likely to be in the neighborhood, but who feels like he lacks intelligence. At that time, it was earplugs that could put a point on the character. I bought some from Daiso with the managers and fortunately, the clothes and earplugs looked good on me, so I told the director 'I love it'. I think the character went a little bit more towards that. And the more powerful energy of the actor Kwang-soo is, so if the other actor accepts the acting rather than \', it seems that a character who is lacking naturally was born. I didn't intend to act this character to make him look lacking."
In the second half, he even showed abusive acting, revealing the appearance of an extreme villain. Park Hae-soo continued to practice swearing. He joked that he practiced"Some words came out naturally even though they were words that I couldn't even imagine. While playing the character, it was very difficult for the witness to go into the second half. There were times when I felt like I was breaking a taboo. Drinking holy water in the cathedral or swearing with the cross in the background was uncomfortable and very hard. At that time, in fact, it was not possible to act freely as if I was wearing a mask, and it seems that it was after I wore a mask that I became free. When I got home, I tried to forget it quickly and cut it off. Saying extremely harsh words to someone was uncomfortable while acting, but it was fun because it seemed to break the taboo, and it was fun because it was something I hadn't done before. "
Park Hae-soo continued "I prayed a lot because I was a Christian. You have to be good to play evil well. I'm not that good, but I thought I had to show it correctly. So I prayed a lot. They want us to be able to express evil accurately. From people's perspective, evil should be seen as evil. I wanted to avoid being rationalized or justified.'
'A bad performance' is a crime thriller about six people entangled in a bad performance that they can't get out of even if they want to. Park Hae-soo appeared as the central character of the play, 'Witness Man', and was well received for leading the reversal of the play.
