Dubon Korea, a food service company led by Jongwon Baek, has expressed its official position on some reports surrounding regional development projects.

On the 30th, Dubon Korea explained in a press release that `Although reports on Dubon Korea's regional development projects, such as the production of YouTube videos for the Inje-gun Festival and the creation of the Gunsan Food Service Industry Development Institute, some articles have different contents or expressions that may cause misunderstanding, so we want to correct them.'

First of all, in response to reports on Inje-gun, Dubon Korea said "It is not true that Inje-gun paid KRW 550 million for the production of two YouTube videos." In fact, out of the total budget of 500 million won, video production and promotion expenses were 150 million won, and the remaining 350 million won was spent on festival booths and equipment installation, refrigeration and freezer, kiosk rental, venue production costs, education, lodging, food, logistics costs, and menu consulting, according to Dubon Korea.




Regarding the report on the Gunsan Food Service Industry Development Institute, "Some articles use the provocative expressions 'custom', 'benefit', 'bread' as if Durbon Korea received 7 billion won in unilateral budget, but this is not true." The Gunsan city government requested cooperation by referring to successful cases in other regions, and Durbon Korea is legitimately participating in the project in accordance with laws and administrative procedures." he said.
