IU Celebrates 17th Debut Anniversary with Fans at ‘Bye, Summer’ Fan Meet-Up
' at KSPO DOME in Seoul on the 13th and 14th, and made unforgettable memories with fans at the end of summer. This fanmeet-up is the first offline fan event in about two years since the fan concert 'I+UN1VER5E' held in 2023, and all tickets were sold out in advance.

Fanmeet-up 'Bye, Summer' is the title of IU's song, which was recently released and has the meaning of a performance like a cool greeting to summer'. At this moment when summer was quietly ending, it was intended to be a place to say goodbye to the stories and laughter we shared for a season. IU expressed her hope on stage that it would be a special gift for her fans at the end of summer and the beginning of autumn.

The opening of the performance was splendidly opened with firecrackers that burst with IU's appearance and the first stage 'Bye, Summer'. IU, who was on stage wearing a skyy dress that goes well with summer, instantly colored the auditorium with a variety of stages, including '8'. He then interacted with fans with a rich setlist of 'Red Sneakers', 'Blooming', 'Night Letter', 'Nemo's Dream', and 'Heart'. In particular, it received great cheers for performances that were difficult to encounter, such as 'New Song of a Thousand Years', which was known only as an advertising OST, drama OST 'Crepas', 'Marshmallow', and 'Ramang'.




In this fanmeet-up, his chemistry with comedian Moon Sang-hoon, who is well known as UAENA, was also outstanding. Moon Sang-hoon, who appeared as an MC, revealed that he is UAENA and said, `It feels like a dream to stand on such a big stage together. Sang-hoon, you really succeeded." drew laughter and response from the audience. It made the scene even hotter by having an honest conversation with IU from the same perspective as the fans. On the stage of "Marshmallow", Moon Sang-hoon performed dance and rap with IU, adding to the unusual fun and received a great response.

At the encore, IU appeared in the audience, not on the stage, surprised fans, and then communicated closer by singing 'I'll be an audience'. The last song ended the fanmeet-up with 'Summer Night's Dream' on the first day and 'Autumn Morning' on the second day, leaving a warm aftertaste.
