Actor Kim Sun-young is breathing with the stage for the first time in seven years through the play 'His Mother', which will be performed at the Dal Oreum Theater of the National Theater until the 19th.

Kim Sun-young, who debuted with the play 'After the Play' in 1995, has shown an infinite spectrum of acting based on her solid stage experience over the years. Kim Sun-young's realistic acting, which brings the character to life, left a deep impression on him to establish himself as the actor he trusts and sees.

Kim Sun-young's enthusiastic performance also shone in the play 'His Mother', which came back after a long time, and favorable reviews are pouring in. 'His Mother' is a work by British playwright Evan Placy, depicting a mother trying to reduce the criminal sentence of her son, who is accused of raping three women in one night. In the play, Kim Sun-young took the stage as Brenda Kapowitz, the mother of Matthew Kapowitz (Choi Ho-jae), who committed a terrible crime.




Brenda caught the eye as she struggled, sending her second son Jason Capowitz (Choi Ja-woon) to school to keep her daily life in her own way, despite criticism and interest from all media and media toward her family. Since then, the conversation with Robert Rosenberg (Hong Sun-woo), a lawyer and friend, to reduce his son's sentence has incessantly caused conflict and further heightened the tension of the play.
