NewJeans Expresses Gratitude to Fans During Legal Dispute



Newzins, a group that temporarily suspended its activities in the aftermath of the exclusive contract dispute, reported on its recent situation.

On the 12th, Newzins posted a picture on the account 'mhdh_friends', named after the first letters of the five members (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Harin, and Hyein).

In the released photo, there was a handwritten letter that seemed to be received from a fan. The note says 'I love you. A short but heartfelt message was written: 'I support you. In response, Newzins touched the hearts of fans by adding crying cat emoticons as if they were moved.

Earlier, five members of the New Jeans began their own activities in November last year, saying that the contract was terminated due to the violation of the exclusive contract of Audor. Accordingly, Adore filed an application for provisional injunction to preserve the status of an agency and to prohibit the conclusion of an advertising contract along with a lawsuit to confirm the validity of an exclusive contract.

The members announced a new group name 'NJZ' before the court made a decision and even created an SNS account, but in March, the court decided to cite the prohibition of 'preservation of agency status and signing advertising contracts'.

Newzins announced the suspension of its activities when it was not allowed to do independent activities with the NZ, and on the 4th deleted 'NJZ' from its SNS account and changed it to 'mhdh' after their initials,




Since then, on the 11th, Newzins has also released a long message of heart to mark the birthday of member Daniel.

They say "We're having a hard time right now, and we get the most strength when we communicate with Bunnies (fandom name). Bernese's letter is a great help, he said, affirming that "Bernie's favorite song, a song that Bernese can be happy to listen to, and a time will come when we can all have fun together."
