An exhibition will be held where you can meet Oasis in advance, ahead of its first performance in Korea in 16 years since 2009.
A special exhibition covering the trajectory of the British rock band Oasis 'Oasis Origin + Reconstruction' will be held at the complex cultural space Overground in Fukuoka, Japan, from March 14.
This exhibition is a collaboration between photographer Jill Furmanovsky and collage artist Kawamura Kosuke, who have been together since the beginning of the band's formation, and meets with the public once again in Fukuoka following the Tokyo exhibition.
The exhibition consists largely of two axes. One is documentary photographs of Jill Permanovski, who recorded the oasis from 1994 to 2009. She is a legendary music photographer who has brought to the lens artists who have made a mark in the history of music, including Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Stevie Wonder and The Who, as well as Oasis. Fermanowski won the ICON Award at this year's 'Abbey Road Music Photography Awards" and added emotion by introducing Noel Gallagher to the ceremony, saying, `One of my best friends.'
Another axis is the work of Kawamura Kosuke, Japan's leading collage artist and graphic designer. He is well known for his work using 'AKIRA' and his creative director activities at Uniqlo UT. In this exhibition, Oasis' representative albums 'Champagne Supernova' and 'Time Flies, 1994.2009' are reinterpreted jacket images, and his newly designed Oasis logo is also unveiled. In particular, new works will be unveiled for the first time in this Fukuoka exhibition, and some will be sold on site.
During the exhibition, limited-edition goods that were sold out at the Tokyo exhibition will also be sold, and newly designed T-shirts will be added to attract fans' expectations.
Meanwhile, in line with the recent confirmation of the Japanese and Korean performances of 'Oasis Live '25 World Tour', an event to present invitation tickets to Tokyo Dome will also be held for exhibition visitors. Among those who visited the exhibition hall, tickets for Oasis Tokyo performances on October 25 and 26 will be provided to one pair (a total of four people) on each date by lottery.
This exhibition, which allows you to visually reflect on the music of the oasis and their history, is expected to be a special experience for fans in Japan as well as across Asia.
