Group Super Junior Sungmin is leaving SM Entertainment (hereinafter referred to as SM).

SM announced on the 30th that the exclusive contract between the company and its artist, Sungmin, has ended" he said.

We would like to express our gratitude to Sungmin, who has been with us for more than 20 years since he was a trainee and has been an artist. We will continue to support Seongmin's music activities and new beginnings."




Sungmin made his debut as Super Junior in 2005, but stopped team activities in 2017. He turned solo in 2019 and officially debuted as a trot singer in 2023.

Seongmin married actor Kim Sa-eun in 2014.
