Rosé Named to TIME’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025

The group BlackPink Rosé was selected as the "100 Most Influential People of the Year" by Time, a U.S. weekly magazine.

On the 16th (local time), Rosé was named in the Pioneer category of the 'Time 100' list announced by Time magazine. Rosé enjoyed worldwide popularity with 'APT.' announced with Bruno Mars last year.

Currently, Rosé is continuing her long-term success on the main Billboard single chart 'Hot 100'.

According to the latest chart on the 15th (local time), Rosé's 'Apartment (APT.)' fell six spots from the previous week, but it entered the chart for 25 consecutive weeks at No. 13.

'Apartment' debuted on the singles chart at No. 8 in October last year, showing a modest decline, before rebounding at the beginning of the year to reach the top 3.

British actress Lily Collins recommended Rosé for the reason that she was "a dynamic singer and songwriter, the best girl group member in the world" and "as a solo artist, she also had an amazing ability to capture a stage full of audiences".

Meanwhile, Time has been announcing the world's most influential person every year since 2004. 100 people will be selected in six categories, including leaders, pioneers, artists, innovators, icons, and masters.

Last year's 'Time 100' did not include any Koreans. This year, Lee Jae-myung, former chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, was selected in the leadership category, including Rosé in the pioneer category, and two people were named.
