Taeyeon’s Tokyo Concert Canceled Due to Equipment Delays

On the 17th, Taeyeon's agency SM Entertainment announced the cancellation of Taeyeon's 10th anniversary concert 'The TENSE', which was scheduled to be held at Ariake Arena in Tokyo from the 19th to the 20th.
The agency said "The equipment used on the Asian tour is being transported to Japan, but it has not arrived in Japan at this time, and it is very difficult to prepare enough for the performance."
"We have repeatedly consulted with relevant ministries to explore all possibilities, but we have come to the conclusion that it is difficult to hold a performance. We deeply apologize for causing inconvenience to those who have been waiting for the performance."
SM is also considering the possibility of an alternative performance. We will inform you again as soon as we decide on future responses or detailed announcements."
Meanwhile, Taeyeon is expected to attract even more attention as she will visit eight Asian regions, including Taipei on March 16, Manila on March 29, Jakarta on April 12, Japan on April 19-20, Macau on May 26th, Singapore on May 3rd to 4th, Bangkok on May 31st to June 1st, and Hong Kong on June 7th.
