Mr. A claimed that he had received a ruling to the effect that Mr. B's cheating was recognized in a divorce lawsuit last year. At the time, the court said that B lied to A on May 15, 2022, that he was going to a company dinner, met Choi Jung-won for brunch, and met Choi Jung-won at Han River Park on May 27, 2022, drinking wine and touching together. I spent time alone in Choi Jung-won's house. On June 18, 2022, he said to A that he was going to play with his son, and then he met Choi Jeong-won and exercised with his son alone in the game room, and the conflict intensified as A learned about this."
However, B appealed against the ruling. Choi Jeong-won refuted that B was a close younger brother who even knew his family and had only met three times.
At the first hearing date on January 21, Choi Jung-won applied for B as a witness, but the court did not accept it, saying it was difficult to guarantee objectivity. After hearing Choi Jung-won's position on the second date on March 25, the court planned to close the hearing and set a sentencing date. However, the schedule was postponed when Choi Jeong-won appointed a new lawyer.
