Mnet 'Unpretty Rapstar: Hip-pop Princess' (hereinafter 'Hip-pop Princess') begins.

HIP POP Princess is a new season of Korea's first female rapper survival program Mnet Unpretty Rapstar that debuted in 2015. As female rappers such as Jeon So-yeon, Cheetah, and Heize made their faces known through Unpretty Rapstar, making their presence comparable to that of the rising rappers of the time as a 'Star Enlightenment', interest in the newly born 'hip-pop Princess' is already hot through renewal in about nine years since 'Unpretty Rapstar 3' in 2016.

While `Unpretty Rapstar' has discovered talented rappers, `Hip-Pop Princess' aims to create a hip-hop group. In 'Hip-Pop Princess', participants actively participate in all areas of creation, including writing, composing, and choreography, and perform missions to express their own colors. Discovering participants like gemstones and watching their growth journey as artists through self-production missions are expected to be the focus of 'hip-pop princess'.

Any woman born before January 1, 2012, regardless of nationality, can apply for the application of the "Hip-Pop Princess" which will be the beginning of the birth of a hip-hop group that was not present in the world. The application period is from the 23rd to June 30th, and it will be held through an online application through the QR code of the recruitment teaser video. Support through Mnet Plus will be available from the 30th.

The production team hinted that "Hip-pop Princess", which is being prepared for airing in October this year, is a project to create a rap version of IZ*ONE", and "We are preparing with all our heart and soul, so please give us a lot of support and interest."
