Will Newzins succeed in overturning the decision to ban independent activities…closed interrogation of an objection

Will the group Newzins succeed in a dramatic turnaround.

On the afternoon of the 9th, the hearing of the Civil Agreement Department 50 (Chief Judge Kim Sang-hoon) at the Seoul Central District Court will hold an interrogation date for the provisional injunction filed by five Newzins members. This interrogation date will be held behind closed doors.

Earlier, the court cited Adore's request for a provisional injunction against the members, including preserving the status of an agency and signing an advertising contract.

Newzins will give Newzins a long vacation, including the absence of production due to the dismissal of former CEO Min Hee-jin, the discord between dolphin mob director Shin Woo-seok and Ador, and an internal Hive report that reads, `What can be done without Newz'' claimed that the exclusive contract was terminated due to 11 problems, including the remarks of former Hive CEO Park Ji-won.

However, the court did not accept all of Newzins' claims. It cannot be said that Adore violates important obligations in the exclusive contract or that the mutual trust relationship has been irreversibly broken. As a result, Newzins' independent activities were virtually banned.

Newzins said he respects the court's judgment, but told foreign media that `Korea seems to be trying to make us revolutionaries", "The decision to cite the provisional disposition was shocking" was controversial for his remarks. Since then, the members submitted an objection to the court on the 21st of last month. On the 23rd of the same month, he declared 'Stop Activity'. In addition, the new team name NJZ, which was chosen instead of Newzins, also changed the initials of the members' names to 'MHDHH' and blew up the SNS account that had been operated independently.

As Newzins changed its course in consideration of the court battle, attention is focused on whether it can overturn the court's decision to cite provisional injunction.

Meanwhile, Newzins is also in the process of filing a lawsuit to confirm the validity of its exclusive contract with Adore (the original lawsuit). At the first hearing held on the 3rd, Odor said he hoped for an agreement, but Newzins drew the line saying, `It's not a situation to think about it.' The second day of the main lawsuit will be held on June 22.
