Chinese actor Zhao Ying-Zi (Zhao Ang-Zi, 35) was asked to leave by the organizers after controversy over his over-exposed outfits on the red carpet at the 78th Cannes International Film Festival.

According to multiple media outlets in China, including Taiwan 'ET TODAY' on the 14th (local time), Zhao Ying-tzu took to the red carpet at the festival's opening ceremony in Cannes, France on the 13th (local time) in a see-through dress covering only the main parts with decorations, but organizers asked to leave the scene, saying Zhao Ying-tzu's dress violated official dress regulations.

The video released on social media showed Zhao Ying-tzu standing on the red carpet and being informed of his exit by a staff member, raising controversy. As the video spread, the claim that Zhao Yingz violated the Cannes Film Festival's 'Excessive Exposure Prohibition Regulations' is gaining momentum.

Earlier, the Cannes Film Festival said in its recently renewed dress guidelines that "bodies fully exposed on the red carpet are not allowed" and "organizers are obliged to prohibit anyone who does not comply with this rule from entering the red carpet." he said. The regulations apply to all official events, such as previews and press conferences.

Meanwhile, Zhao Ying-tzu rose to fame in 2014 when she played Jung-young in the drama 「New Jo Hye-ryeo」. His masterpiece is 'Jang An-lak'.
